Derek leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Derek’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Novak. He is survived by: his children, Hugo Douglas Novak and Iris Francis Novak; the mother of his children Alicia Nicole Novak; his mother Peggy Novak; and his sisters, Tracey Harvill (Johnny) and Kelly Bowker (Mike). He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (2100 Farragut Ave, Butte, MT 59701).
