She is survived by: her sister Shirley; her sons, Daniel (Linda), David (Janiel), Timothy (Ruth), Terrence (late Kathy) and Matt (Jody); her friend Shawna Yates; and her husband John.

Doris became a regular volunteer at St. James Hospital in Butte for almost 30 years, stopping at age 90 only because COVID-19 shut down all volunteer activities.

Doris' favorite charities were the Butte Food Bank and the St. James Hospital Foundation.

“The passing of aunt Doris will forever leave a hole in my heart. The Past few years we chatted quite often. She was always busy exercising, out with friends or involved in church activities. I admired so many things about Aunt Doris: her strength, love for the Lord and the “matter of fact” way she approached life. She was an inspiration to me in many ways and I will miss her. To my cousins: She always spoke with pride of you boys and your families. We lost a good one. Love to all, Renee”
