We announce the death of Edward Lawrence Wolstein of Butte, Montana, who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 86. Edward will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Martin Wolstein and Dorothy Tuffli Wolstein. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Victoria A. Kestle (Charles), Jeffrey M. Wolstein (Peggy) and Carrie L. Jinneman (Thomas); his grandchildren, Nichole J. Deshazo (Justin), Charles E. Wolstein (Ashley), Sarah K. Zink (Timothy), Hans T. Jinneman and Anna L. Roberts (Riley); his great grandchildren, Owen P. Deshzo, Quinn H. Deshazo, Charlie N. Zink, Anthony M. Zink, Jeffrey A. Wolstein and Kristopher W. Wolstein; and his sister Jane Hohn of Helena.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (1621 Thornton Ave, Butte, MT 59701). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
