He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Hewitt and Ann Hewitt; his brothers, John and Bernie; his grandson Jamie Schultz; his nephews, Bernie and Bob Hewitt; and his close friends, Jim Wonnacott, Jack Ritter and Tom Billteen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Cookie); his children, Bill Hewitt (Chris), Jamie Hewitt (Theresa), Michelle Sholey (Jack) and Rochelle Schultz (Rob); his grandchildren, Justin Hewitt, Josh Hewitt, Jacob Hewitt, Heather Hewitt, Jayce Hewitt, Jeff Schultz, Kaitlynn Cyr, Callie Mithell, Ryan Tregidga, Lacy Sholey, Thomas Andrade, Nikita Ruane and Kenny Andrade; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Flynn, Pat Hewitt and Arthel Hewitt; and his close friends, Ken Weldon, Ken Schlein, Dave Eustice, Tony and Kathy Jangula. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home (1800 Florence Ave, Butte, MT 59701). A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Patrick's Cemetery (2725 S Montana St, Butte, MT 59701).
