Though Jim may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Opie and Kaythryn Opie (Devine). He is survived by: his wife Carol Stefani. He is also survived by his 6 children, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Montana Tech Foundation.
