It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Kichnet of Butte, Montana, who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Evelyn Caldwell and Cathy Whetstone; her nephews, J. W. Hodges, Chad Caldwell, Josh Caldwell and Nicolas Caldwell; her niece Eternity Hamberg; and her brothers-in-law, Patrick Keith and Brian Domer.
She is survived by: her husband Mark South; her former husband Robert Kichnet; her sons, Chris Kichnet (Kellee) and Kevin Kichnet (Jennifer Nemec); her granddaughter Breanna Kichnet; and her siblings, Jerry Caldwell (Linda), Lorraine Hodges (Carson), Tracy Caldwell (Tascha), Mark Caldwell (Theresa), Jennifer Domer, Robbi Keith and Bonnie Brown (Mike). She is also survived by many extended family memnbers and friends.
