She was predeceased by: her parents, Whitney Smith and Barbara Ladd Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Jeff Daniel, Logan Voermans, Anika Voermans and Gwenyth Voermans.

She is survived by: her son Carl Daniel (Samantha); her grandchildren, Max, Huck and Demi; and her sisters, Whitney Voermans (Bob), Martha Smith (Steve) and Natalie Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
