He was predeceased by: his parents, John J "Shine" Murphy and Beverly Jane Anderson Murphy of Anaconda; and his siblings, Dan, Tim, Jim, Kathy and Mary.
He is survived by: his brothers, John (Janine) of Spokane and Terry of Butte; his uncles, Edward Anderson of Deer Lodge and Don Anderson of Colstrip; his aunt Linda; and his sister-in-law Pam Murphy of Helena. He is also survived by many cousins nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
