He was predeceased by: his parents, Reann Burns and Roger Marez; and his siblings, Rogeann "Koko" Marez, Ann Stafford and James "Jimmer" Brown.
He is survived by: his sons, Jackson Marez and Jonathon Marez; his granddaughters, Jacquline Marez, Travion Marez and Jocelyn Marez; and his sisters, Robin Marquardt and Ireane "Peggy" VanAlstine.
