He was predeceased by: his parents, Alejandro Montez and Ramona Cano; his son Raul Roberto Montez Jr.; and his grandson Montana Montez. He is survived by: his daughter Ramona Montez-Burns; his son-in-law Eric Burns; his sister Rosa Telles; his grandchildren, Carlos Monroy, David Flores, Kassandra Flores, Mark Montez-Gonzalo and Kayla Montez-Gonzalo; his great grandchildren, Fallon Monroy, David-Troy Monroy, Emerson Flores and Matias Flores; his stepson Francisco Tristan; and his granddaughters, Rosa Yenne and Anna Morales. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
