He is survived by: his father Marvin Welna; his wife Diane Welna; his son Ben Welna (Kate); his granddaughter Amari; his daughter Katie Burke (Thomas); his grandson Emmanuel; his son Luke Welna (Savannah); his granddaughter Violet; his siblings, John Welna, Barb Flavin (Shawn), Nancy Welna and Julie Miller (Al); and his aunts and uncles, Louis Welna (Judy), John Rylander (Edith), Arlyce Anderson (Ken) and Joyce Morris (Bob).
