He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Johnson and Belva Johnson; and his former wives, Orla Longee and Sherry Bishop. He is survived by: his granddaughter Cheryce (Winter Storm Baby); his wife Roberta Messerly-Johnson; his children, Diandra Johnson, Savanah Spotted-Bird, Jeremy Longee (Liz) and Jesse Johnson (Dawn); his siblings, Thea Kirkaldie, Roberta Johnson (Douglas), Cindy Moccasin, Maxine Rutherford, Edgar Johnson, Stanley Johnson (Joan) and Ival Jackson (Danielle); his grandchildren, Iva, Jeremy Jr., Anthony, Dominique, Jesse Jr., Maya Lynn, Laila and Ben; and his siblings, Abby, Vikki, Vivian, Mary K, Marlene, Baby, Douglas Johnson, Benny Johnson and Ronnie Moccasin.
A wake was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (210 Chippewa, Fort Belknap Agency, MT 59526). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
