He was predeceased by : his parents, Chris Johnson and Marguerite Johnson; and his brother Forrest Lee. He is survived by : his former life partner Ellen Gauthier; his sister Carolyn Harrison of Lolo, MT; his children, Lee of Great Falls, MT and Kelly of Missoula, MT; his granddaughter Drew of Lake Stevens, WA.; and his aunts, Irene Torgerson, Jody Gebhart and Doris Shumacher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
