We announce the death of Maxine Durbin of Choteau, Montana, who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Foster and Beatrice Foster (Schultz); her husbands, Ike Hitchcock, George Bleecker and Wayne Durbin; her daughter Renee Hitchcock; and her siblings, Boyd, John, Robert Foster and Shirley Gruenhout.

She is survived by: her sisters, Fern Drew and Marge Herman; her children, Karen Lensing, Becky Terman (James), Bonnie Foster (Rod) and Mark Hitchcock (Joy); and her grandchildren, Samara Fuzi, Desiree Robinson, Chad Hitchcock (Jaley), Dustin Lensing (Rachel), Trina Bradley (Peter), Crystal Clifford (Josh), Tim Hitchcock (Brandy), Tara Best (Junior), McKenna LaValley (Cody), Tanner Walton and Liberty LaValley (Cole). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
