He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dauwalder and Irene Dauwalder (Jones); his brother Dick Dauwalder; his son Mike Dauwalder; his sister Donna Faye Otness (Ron); his parents-in-law, Hank and Winifred Meyer; his sister-in-law Marilyn Nyberg (Vernon); his stepfather Bill McManus Sr.; and his stepbrother Bill McManus Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy Dauwalder; his children, Stacey Middleton (Randy) and Mark Dauwalder (Shelly); his sister Anna Lee Dauwalder; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Pederson (John) and Lorraine Dauwalder (Dick); his grandchildren, Karri Jo Kleinsasser (Eric), Jordan Dauwalder, Jasmynn Halvorson (Riley), Shaunessy Meyer (Seth), Steffen Dauwalder, Colton Dauwalder and Austin Bates; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Gwen, Finn, Archie, Knox, Paisley, Hank, Linnaya, Haakon, Seeley and Emerson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (12 1st Ave NW, Choteau, MT 59422). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Choteau Cemetery (100 Hwy 221, Choteau, MT 59422).
