She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Richard Nielsen and Lydia Petrena Andersen; her husband Carrol Sorensen; her daughter Dawn Robison; and her grandson Ben Robison.

She is survived by: her children, BJ Kavanaugh (Ross), Leslie A. Sorensen and Mary L. Sorensen (Robert Smith); and her grandchildren, Sam, Nick, Hailey, Jessica, Brad, Andrew and Matthew. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
