It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Franklin Knapton of Columbia Falls, Montana, born in Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Henry Knapton and Lenora Amundson Knapton; his brother Dick Knapton; his brother-in-law Charles Conrad; and his nephew Joel Conrad.

He is survived by : his wife Janice Knapton; his children, Shawna Korth (Jay) and Scott Knapton (Belinda); his grandchildren, MacKenzie, Kennedy, Erik of Brandon, DJ, Jordan and Allec; his brother Jim Knapton; and his parents-in-law, Lynn, Virginia Everett, Loretta Conrad and Sandra Knapton. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
