He is survived by: his brother Lloyd D. Smith; his sons, Jared Kyle Smith of Bigfork and Justin Leo Smith; his daughter-in-law Alli Mitchell; his granddaughters, Virginia and Audrey of Columbia Falls; and his significant other Dodie Ridenour.
