He is survived by : his son Herbert (Bertha Baumgartner); his wife Joyce Thronson; his children, Pam Randazzo, Peggy Martin (Wes), Kathy Suvak (Dave), Jim Baumgartner (Debby) and Jeff Baumgartner; and his grandchildren, Kristel, Meghan Jones, Heather, Sal, Heidi Randazzo, Kyle and Kayla Suvak. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a donation made in his name to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Columbia Falls can be made.
