He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Thompson and Mary Thompson; and his siblings, Mary Shea, Helen Kingsbury, Joey Thompson and Chucky Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Garate, Linda Oswald and Carol Oliva; and his sons-in-law, Rigoberto Garate and Daniel Oliva. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Columbia Mortuary (1010 4th Ave W, Columbia Falls, MT 59912).
