He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Duncan and Minnie Duncan; his former wife Bettye Ann; his siblings, Maynard, Delwin Lyall, Kenny, Earl, LaVeave, Gladys, Ora, Alice, Marge and Annabell; his sons-in-law, Doug Thisselle and Gordon Elings; and his great grandchild Trypp Maxwell.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Claudia Duncan, Maria Cates (David), Clayton Duncan and Ronald Duncan (Jodi); his grandchildren, Seth Johnson, Paige Swanson (Bjorn), Luke Thisselle (Andrea), Nadine Thisselle Habets (Jeremiah), Dirk Elings (Amanda), Mardi Elings, Keith Duncan, David Duncan, Breyn Maxwell (Joe), Dustin Hovde (Brie) and Brittani Thompson (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Sienna Weisgram, Zion Swanson, Zane, Asher Thisselle, Scotlyn, Soren Elings, Amara Duncan, Westyn McCallum, Vadya, Vyolet Maxwell, Cash, Ella, Bridger Thompson, Trenton and Anson Hovde; and his close friend Doug Nichols (Mindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Conrad Mission Church (205 2nd Ave NW, Conrad, MT 59425).
