He is survived by : his wife Rose Marie; his children, Kathy Gemar (Dean) of Conrad and Jim Peterman (Barbara) of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Lori Beniger (Bryan) of Helena, Amy Copenhaver (Casey) of Helena, Keith Gemar (Brandi) of Helena, Brian Gemar (Emily) of Helena, Dawson and Hanna Peterman of Fairfield; his great grandchildren, Carly of Helena, Chloe of Helena, Carter of Helena, Presley of Helena, Brock of Helena, Blake of Helena and Easton of Helena; and his brother Bronc Peterman (Cec) of Conrad.
