She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brophy and Beatrice Brophy (Dunham); her husband Herb; her son Kenneth; and her siblings, Helen Dupler, Jeanne Racine, Lucille Peterman, Jerry Brophy, Dorothy Wardner and Michael Brophy.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Gemar (Dean) of Conrad and Jim Peterman (Barbara) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Lori Beniger (Bryan) of Helena, Amy Copenhaver (Casey) of Helena, Keith Gemar (Brandi) of Butte, Brian Gemar (Emily) of Helena, Dawson Peterman of Helena and Hanna Peterman of Missoula; her great grandchildren, Carly, Chloe Copenhaver, Carter, Presley Gemar, Brock Beniger, Blake and Easton Gemar; and her siblings, Beatrice Begley, Patricia Flinders and Marquerite Mains. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
