We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Thomas Dean Nelson of Culbertson, Montana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nelson and Nina Nelson (Nelsen); his wife Barbara Nelson; his sisters, Luella Larsen and Harriet Blair; his parents-in-law, John and Violet Nicholson; his brother Russell; his sister-in-law Karen Betz; his nephew Rob Betz; and also, Drusilla and Mildred.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Hekkel (Larry) and Mark Nelson (JoMarie); his grandchildren, Christian Hekkel, Lauren Berntson (Brady), Jed Laber (Jenni) and Andrew Nelson (Justin Ailport); his great grandchildren, Corban, Prestan Hekkel, Brooks, Ryker Berntson, Jaxon and Joshua Laber; his nieces and nephews, Bruce Johnson (Kathy), Brent Betz, Marcia Scharnweber, Mardell Pedersen, Cheryl Mason (Steve) and Wanda McDonald (Kevin); and his goddaughters, Karen Larsen Synan and Cheryl Blair Mason.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
He served on several boards, including Ebenezer Church Council, Farmers Elevator, Roosevelt Memorial Hospital, Roosevelt Home Health, Culbertson Museum, and Culbertson Area Community Foundation.
