With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanne Mae Smith of Deer Lodge, Montana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jeanne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeanne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Bush and Gladys Bush. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Smith; her children, Duane (Ronda), Dale (Amy) and Linda (James); and her siblings, Bonnie (Dick), David (Mary), Rick (Debbie), Penny, Cindy (Ray), Stephanie (Steve) and Cheryl (Kelly). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many extended family members and friends.
