We announce the death of Judith Ann Johnston (Deer Lodge, Montana), who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 86. Judith Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Larson and Sadie Larson; her husband Joe Johnston; her children, Kari Labbe and Evan Johnston; and her son-in-law Paul Sliter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Janney (Ed) and Elaine Taylor (Mark); her children-in-law, Allan Labbe and Dana Johnston; and her grandchildren, Logan Labbe, Shawna Williams, Brian Labbe, Beth Janney, Tess Janney, Elsa Janney, Kylie Goff, Ethan Johnston, Morgan Christensen and Raegan Taylor.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church in Deer Lodge (410 Missouri Ave, Deer Lodge, MT 59722).
In lieu of flowers the family asks if you are so inclined to send donations to any of the following organizations. St. John Lutheran Church, Rialto Theatre, Powell County Community Foundation, or Powell County Community.
