She is survived by: her father Warren Matte Sr. (Wilma Simon); her siblings, Eagle Feather Matte, David Quintaskeet, Michael Stanley, Lauri Big Wolf and Vernie Matte; and her grandchildren, Lucas Pewitt, Millie Welch, Earlie Welch, Kingston Blacktongue, Amaria Pewitt and Michael Welch Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A wake was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Fort Belknap Community Center (455 Agency Dr St, Harlem, MT 59526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
