He is survived by: his daughters, Robyn Lewis (Kipp), Karen Shaw (Kevin) and Elaine Fox; his grandchildren, Addyson, Ellyn, Malyn Lewis, Kaylee Fox (Brian), Bryant Shaw, Macee Barton (Matt), Riley Shaw (Nina), Lindsey Martin (Emerson Meister) and Kelly Jo Riley (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Torrance, Rowan, Myles Fox, Braxton, Kaden Barton, Jedidiah, Emily Jo and Elliana Jo Riley; his sister Lynda Bramlette Smith of Plano; and his nibling Anika.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Benton Agriculture Museum. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (747 Cemetery Rd, Fort Benton, MT 59442).

Memorial donations in Bruce's honor may be sent to Montana State University Alumni Foundation.
