With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Willis M. Wittig Jr. (Frenchtown, Montana), born in Bismarck, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his son James; his parents, Willis and Evelyn; his grandson Lucas Rainforth; his son-in-law Terry Rainforth; and his siblings, Larry, Gerald and Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Gist (Richard), Joseph Wittig (Karen) and Cindy Rainforth; and his sister Lois Bernhardt. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Frenchtown Community Church (16250 Mullan Rd, Frenchtown, MT 59834).
