She was predeceased by: her brother Steve Newberry; and her mother KC. She is survived by: her husband Greg; her children, Derek Gieni (Breanna), Jessica Gieni, Alberta, Jennifer Gieni and Joshua Matteson (Emily); and her siblings, Dianne Finley (Rich), Summerland, British Columbia, Myrna Blumberg (Ross), Parksville, Brenda Goorts (Bill), Courtenay, Rick Newberry (Cheri) and Valerie Gallic (Boyd). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
