He was predeceased by : his parents, John Brooks and Claudia Brooks (Jackson); and his sister Barb Phillips. He is survived by : his wife Rita Brooks; and his children, Jay Brooks (Kim), Curtis Brooks, Tracy Thompson (Wayne), Trudy Dundas (Kevin), Trynity DeVries (Mike), Jonnie Buerman (Hal), Kimberly Stingley (Kyle) and Kevin Hartsock (Heather). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 28 great- grandchildren.
