Roberta Barstad Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta Barstad (Glasgow, Montana), whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Thompson and Hallie Thompson; and her husband Milton. She is survived by: her children, Mitchell (Dawn), Brent (Danelle Murch) and Callie (Sam Forsythe); her grandchildren, Spencer, Banner, Skylar, Ryder, Colton, Breanna (Devin Rasmusan), Mikayla, Cameron and Ty; her sister-in-law Georgia Barstad; and her siblings, Betty Jo Powell (family: Richard, Marilyn Thompson) and Sam Shatley (Steve). She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends, three grand-cats and eight grand-dogs.
A memorial service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (641 2nd Ave N, Glasgow, MT 59230).
A celebration of her life and her contributions to the community will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at the First Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial in Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or gifts to the family, they ask that contributions be made to the First Lutheran Church of Glasgow, Valley County Pioneer Museum or Valley County HOPE Project to honor Roberta's memory.
