He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmet Mickelson and Sylvia Mickelson (Murray); his brother Lewis; his nieces and nephews, Terry, Randy and Keith; and his brother-in-law Dennis Basta.
He is survived by : his son Lewis; his sister Margaret Basta; his nephew Mike Basta (Dee); his great-nephew Alan Basta (Liu); and also, Shannon May, Ray Basta (Kris), Jean Basta (Jim Temple) and Joel Basta (Jamie).
Memorials are suggested to the Glendive Public Library.
