He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Hinton and Hazel Hinton (Ryan); his son Thomas Lee; his siblings, Margie, Donna and Danny; and his granddaughter Sara.

He is survived by : his wife Lillie Seidel; his children, Mary Bonner (Bill), Jerry (Brenda) and Danny Hinton (Valerie); and his sister Alice Schuler. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
