He was predeceased by : his sister Ruth Davidhizar. He is survived by : his former life partner Lisa King; his wife Mary Ann Holderman of Glendive; his children, Amber Minton (Isaiah) of Salem and James Holderman Jr. of Salem; his stepchildren, James Whittet (Darlena) of Glendive and Patricia Butler (Jesse) of Wolf Lake; and his sister Cindy Mullet of Glendive. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and another on the way, one great grandchild.
