He was predeceased by : his parents, Ulysses Searer and Louise Searer; his children, Victor Vernon Searer and Debra Lucille Searer; and his wife Doris Searer.

He is survived by : his son Randy Scott Searer (Patti Jo); his grandchildren, Kayleen Peters (Lyle), Jaycee Searer and Taylor Searer (Page); his daughter Billie Jo Lipsett (James); his granddaughters, Celeste and Celina Johnson; his great grandchildren, Maizie, Teagan and Luna; his grandson Grant Searer; his great grandchild Ella; his granddaughter Rebecca McDonald; his great grandchildren, Sharice and Jordan; his grandsons, Tyler and Russell Kortan; and also, Kinlee and Leah.
