It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Richter Shonk (Great Falls, Montana), born in Bliss, Idaho, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Carl Richter has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Luis Yuzon; his daughter Lisa (Travis Cushman); his granddaughters, Valerie, Carly and Kayla; his grandson-in-law Brant Burckhard; and his children, Oaklyn, OllieMae and Kaylin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel (1410 13th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at 2800 Terminal Dr, Great Falls, MT 59404.
