She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Montes and Margaret Montes (LaFromboise); and her sisters, Bernice McGuire and Rosetta Montes. She is survived by: her children, Michael Campbell, JoVel Campbell, Bernard Montes and Willamina Campbell-Tailfeathers; her brothers, Richard Montes, Ted Montes (Mamie) and James Montes (Lydia); and her goddaughter Jewel Whitford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A wake was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church. A rosary was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the St. Pierre Hill Cemetery.
