He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Kind; his parents, Charles Kind and Loretta Kind; his sister Holly Willis; and his granddaughter Brittney Cobb.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Kind (Kristen) of Laurel, Kelly Kind of Florida and Jennifer Schneider (Jeff) of TriCities, WA; and his siblings, Sandy Zanto (Bill), Renee, Darwin Kind (Cheryl) and Laurie Baum (Larry).
