We announce the death of Denise Kay Terra of Great Falls, Montana, born in Havre, Montana, who passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 74. Denise will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Denise will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Denise will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Denise’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russ LaBelle and Eileen LaBelle; and her brother Dan LaBelle. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her daughter Teresa (Mike); her son-in-law Mike Schmit; and her stepdaughter Fabia Terra (Martin). She is also survived by two children; three nieces and nephews; twelve great-nieces and -nephews; and nineteen great-great-nieces.
In lieu of a memorial contribution, she would much prefer a prayer, a Mass, or a shared memory.
