He was predeceased by: his wife Robin McPhail of Great Falls; his parents, Francis John Kaine, Sr. and Laura Cone; and his brothers, Ronald Allaire and JB Allaire.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Best (Michael), Martha Watson (Jeffrey), John Allaire (Patricia) and Cate Dolbinski (Steven); his grandchildren, Matthew Best (Cali), Sydney Best (Joel Villalobos), John Moore (Amanda), Zachary Moore and Jack Dolbinski; and his great grandchildren, Wilder, Hayes Best, Kaylin Moore and Milo Villalobos.
