He was predeceased by: his father Roderick Van Heel; his stepfather Mark Olson; and his grandparents, Ruth and John Frick. He is survived by: his children, Gage and Brooke Van Heel; his mother Linda Olson; his brother Wylie Van Heel (Trish); and his nephews, Brade and Caleb Van Heel. He is also survived by several stepsiblings, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
