He is survived by: his spouse Erin Louise; his children, Tonya Louise Maxwell and Gary Dale Maxwell; his stepson Jerry Robert; and his siblings, Madeline Gallspie and Everette Dale Maxwell. He is also survived by three grandsons; two granddaughters; three great grandsons; and five great granddaughters.
