It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Marie Place of Great Falls, Montana, born in Port Townsend, Washington, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Einar Harrison and Evalyn Harrison (Benson); her husband Bob; her siblings, Ruthy and Harold; and her son-in-law Jim Bachman.

She is survived by : her children, Terry Bachman, Pamela Edwards (Darcy), Gail Swensgard (Jim), Julie Green (Mike), Randy and Matthew Place (Bobbi); her sister Toni Cullum; and her grandchildren, Katie, Cory, Justin, Jesse, Buck, Lacy, Melissa, Makenzie, Joel, Josh, Jennifer, Zachary and Autumn. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the O'Connor Memorial Chapel (2425 8th Ave N, Great Falls, MT 59401).
