She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Dennis and Gladys Bertha Kopp (Zaun); her husband Clarence Gonser; her son Jim Gonser; her grandson Dana Gonser; and her son-in-law Jim Shigley.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanie Shigley, Steve Gonser (Karen J.), Jaelynn Johnson (Joe), Blake Gonser (Karen L.) and Tammy Miller (Donnie); and her daughter-in-law Cindy Gonser. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Lawn Mausoleum Chapel (1410 13th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the Gonser family requests memorials in Geraldine's name be made to the Central Montana Parkinson's Support Group or to an animal shelter in your local community.
