We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2026, at the age of 87, Marjorie Ielene Vander Aarde (Great Falls, Montana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marjorie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marjorie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hartog and Gertrude Hartog (Hofland); her siblings, Janice and John Hartog II; and her husband Robert Vander Aarde.
She is survived by: her daughters, Liesl Vander Aarde and Tamela; her son-in-law David Scholten; and her grandchildren, Bridger and Aiyana Scholten.
The family suggests that memorial donations be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or the United Way of Cascade County.
