He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Hilyard of Plentywood and Charles "Bud" Hilyard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Harmon; his children, Gage Hilyard of Tokyo, Japan and Hayden Walling (Korbin) of Kuna, Idaho; and his siblings, Kurt Hilyard (Kathy) of Port Orchard, Washington, Susan Wanke (Floyd) of Great Falls, Montana and Cyndi Vitone (Marcus) of Montara, California.
