She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Goodman and Frank Brown; her husband Earl Jakes of Roy; and her siblings, Beverly Brown Stroop, Ruth Schaper Royal, Alvin Brown and Henry Brown.
She is survived by: her son Duane Jakes (Tiffany Bell); her grandsons, Brad Kauffman (Cathy) and Scott Kauffman (Barbara); her great grandchildren, Julianne Kauffman, Addison Kauffman, Aiden Kauffman, Destiny King and William King (Kimberly); her niece Joni Schaper (Kevin Jackson); her nephew David Stroop; Sherry Kauffman (John), Trudy Jakes (Jean Rolando) and Nathan King.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John's Lutheran Church (5300 9th Ave S, Great Falls, MT 59405).
