With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Renee Loretta Kind Kotthoff (Great Falls, Montana), born in Kalispell, Montana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kind and Loretta Knoll Kind; her in-laws, Arnold and Hildegarde Kotthoff; her siblings, Holly Kind Willis and Chuck; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Kind, Maybelle Quintus and John Connolly.
She is survived by: her husband Arnold Kotthoff Jr.; her children, Casey Kotthoff (Kim) of Fort Benton, Emily Freeny (Rusty) of Helena, Jeremy Kotthoff (Meggie) of Great Falls and Troy Kotthoff (Krystal) of Shonkin; her grandchildren, Damon, Derek Alm (Amanda), Rylie, Charlie, Brock Kotthoff, Lauren Kotthoff and Chase Kotthoff; her great grandchild Dawson Alm; her siblings, Sandy Zanto (Bill) of Highwood, Darwin Kind (Cheryl) of Great Falls and Laurie Baum (Larry) of Highwood; her sisters-in-law, Joanie Burrey (Rod Barnard) and Janet Connolly of Great Falls; and her cousins, Dixie and Sylvia.
