He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Stoos and Doris Stoos (Kalbus); his grandparents, John, Hilda Stoos, Julius and Anna Kalbus; and his wife Patti Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Cottrill, Brent Stoos and Todd Stoos; his wife Nancy Long; his grandchildren, Anna Cottrill, Alisa Cottrill, Celena Stoos and Brett Stoos; and his brother Raymond Stoos.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Geraldine Cemetery (816 Prospect Ave E, Geraldine, MT 59446). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 191 Railroad Avenue, Geraldine, Montana View. A reception will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, a cause he could have utilized a few times during his rodeo career.
